Emergence Band
Emergence was founded in 2005 by Krishna McKenzie with the vision of creating music with Tamil and English, rock, pop, jazz and carnatic themes. Emergence has performed in Glastonbury festival, maximum India festival Washington DC and festivals and tv shows throughout India.
Emergence has seen many line ups all with stand out, virtuoso musicians.
This line up is no different with Vijayagopal on flute and vocals, Dhani Muniz on bass guitar, Raul Mathia on drums and Krishna Mckenzie on guitar and vocals.

Greetings from DCF Voice! Thank you for joining this great historic festival launch. With your support we can make a difference.
We are pleased to share that DCF had a great experience in yet another groundbreaking inclusive initiative Project PROXIMUS along with British council and Paragon Music & Dance Co, Scotland. Eight emerging disabled artists in Scotland, Mexico, Italy and India have created original dance and music pieces digitally with fellow artists in each of the four countries. 4 disabled dancers in Scotland and Italy have created original dance pieces separately and collaboratively for film. And 4 disabled musicians in Mexico and India have created original music for the dance pieces. Four mentors have helped and guided the emerging artists through the creative process. As a result of this project success, we are sharing this story of inclusivity through AAVAA DINGI - International inclusive music and dance festival on 3rd December 2023 (World disability day) 5pm onwards in Indoor Stadium, Santhome.
This is the first of its kind in Chennai and it’s a one of the greatest initiative in India too. Be the first to join to make this difference. Vision is to celebrate inclusivity, raise DA talents as artists, sustainable development for livelihood of DA
International teams along with the local artistes, Celebrities and differently abled talents would be coming together through music and dance to showcase their talent and inspire the world. Festival has 4 components – Inclusive Music, Inclusive Dance, Inclusive Award Ceremony and Story of inclusivity through visual arts.
AFRO Band to bring the African music flavor to the festival, Krishna Mckenzie & Emergence band, a British man speaking in Tamil and singing in Tamil add colors to this Inclusive Festival and originals from Voice for Unity The DCF Band fires up for Band performances. Individual performances by differently abled artists like Jyothi Kalai, Vaikom Vijayalakshmi, Isaivaani, Irwin Victoria, Sam Devassy, Pritika are ready to rock the stage. Inclsuive dance by Prabhu & team and opening ceremony with Bharatanatyam add colors to this festival. The story of inclusivity is performed through mime and creative arts. Nearly 30 inclusive awards are celebrated. With 100 special children an inclusive music art will be staged. It’s a mind boggling and thrilling event
Importantly this festival will give a glimpse of GUINNESS attempt that we are going to do in Inclusive Music around June 2024. We need media friends to take this to people and to make this a grand success.

பிரிட்டிஷ் கவுன்சில் மற்றும் ஸ்காட்லாந்தின் பாராகன் மியூசிக் & டான்ஸ் கோ ஆகியவற்றுடன் இணைந்து DCF மற்றொரு அற்பதமான உள்ளடங்கிய முன்முயற்சியான Project PROXIMUS இல் சிறந்த அனுபவத்தைப் பெற்றுள்ளது என்பதை பகிர்ந்து கொள்வதில் நாங்கள் மகிழ்ச்சியடைகிறோம். ஸ்காட்லாந்து, மெக்சிகோ, இத்தாலி மற்றும் இந்தியாவில் உள்ள எட்டு வளர்ந்து வரும் ஊனமுற்ற கலைஞர்கள், நான்கு நாடுகளில் உள்ள சக் கலைஞர்களுடன் அசல் தடனம் மற்றும் இசைத் துண்டுகளை டிஜிட்டல் முறையில் உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர் ஸ்காட்லாந்து மற்றும் இத்தாவியில் உள்ள 4ஊனமுற்ற நடனக் கலைஞர்கள் திரைப்படத்திற்காக தனித்தனியாகவும் கூட்டாகவும் அசல் நடனக் காட்சிகளை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். மேலும் மெக்சிகோ மற்றும் இந்தியாவைச் சேர்ந்த 4 ஊனமுற்ற இசைக்கலைஞர்கள் நடனப் பகுதிகளுக்கு அசல் இசையை உருவாக்கியுள்ளனர். நான்கு வழிகாட்டிகள் வளர்ந்து வகும். சுவைஞர்களுக்கு ஆக்கப்பூர்வமான செயல்பாட்டின் மூலம் உதவி மற்றும் வழிகாட்டியுள்ளனர். இந்தத் திட்ட வெற்றியின் விளைவாக, AXVAA DINGI AAVAA DINGI - சர்வதேச உள்ளடக்கிய இசை மற்றும் நடன விழா மூலம் டிசம்பர் 2023 அன்று (உலக ஊனமுற்றோர் தினம்) மாலை 5 மணிக்கு சாந்தோமில் உள்ள உள்விளையாட்டு அரங்கில் இந்த உள்ளடக்கத்தைப் பகிர்ந்து கொள்கிறோம்.
சென்னையில் இதுவே முதல் முறை மற்றும் இது இந்தியாவிலேயே மிகப் பெரிய முயற்சியாகும்.இந்த
மாற்றத்தை ஏற்படுத்த முதலில் சேருங்கள் உள்ளடக்கத்தை கொண்டாடுவது, மாற்று திறமைகளை கலைஞர்களாக உயர்த்துவது, மாற்று கலைஞர்கள் வாழ்வாதாரத்திற்காள நிலையான வளர்ச்சி ஆகியவற்றை நோக்கமாகக் கொண்டுள்ளது. உள்ளூர் களல்ஞர்கள், பிரபலங்கள் மற்றும் மாற்றுத்திறனாளிகள் ஆகியோருடன் சர்வதேச அணிகள் இசை மற்றும் நடனம் மூலம் தங்கள் நிறமையை வெளிப்படுத்தவும் உலகை ஊக்குவிக்கவும் ஒன்று கூடும்.விழாவில் 4 கூறுகள் உள்ளன உள்ளடக்கிய இசை, உள்ளடக்கிய நடனம், உள்ளடக்கிய விருது வழங்கும் விழா மற்றும் காட்சிக் கலைகள் மூலம் உள்ளடக்கிய கதை.
விழாவிற்கு ஆப்பிரிக்க இசைச் சுவையைக் கொண்டுவர AFRO இசைக்குழு, தமிழில் பேசும் ஆங்கிலேயரான கிருஷ்ணா மெக்கென்சி & எமர்ஜென்ஸ் இசைக்குழு, இந்த உள்ளடக்கிய விழாவிற்கு வண்ணங்களைச் சேர்த்தது மற்றும் ஒற்றுமைக்கான குரல் மற்றும் ஒரிஜினல்களை DC பேண்ட் இசைக்குழு நிகழ்ச்சிகளுக்கு ஏற்றுகிறது. ஜோதிகலை. வைக்கம் விஜயலட்சுமி, இசைவாணி, இர்வின் விக்டோரியா, சாம் தேவஸ்ஸி, பிரித்திகா போன்ற மாற்று கலைஞர்களின் தனிப்பட்ட நிகழ்ச்சிகள் அரங்கை அதிரத் தயாராக உள்ளன. பிரபு & குழுவினரின் உள்ளடக்கிய நடனம் மற்றும் பரதநாட்டியத்துடன் தொடக்க விழா இந்த விழாவிற்கு வண்ணங்களை சேர்க்கிறது. உள்ளடக்கிய கதை மைம் மற்றும் படைப்பு கலைகள் மூலம் நிகழ்த்தப்படுகிறது. கிட்டத்தட்ட 30 உள்ளடக்கிய விருதுகள் கொண்டாடப்படுகின்றன. 100 சிறப்பு குழந்தைகளை உள்ளடக்கிய இசைக்கலை அரங்கேற்றப்படும். மனதைக் கவரும் மற்றும் சிலிர்க்க வைக்கும் நிகழ்வு இது முக்கியமாக இந்த திருவிழா ஜூன் 2024 இல் உள்ளடக்கிய இசையில் நாங்கள் செய்யவிருக்கும் கின்னஸ் முயற்சியின் ஒரு பார்வையை வழங்கும்.
